An intro to my philosophy on fitness/weight loss, shape change and maintenance…

Anyone wishing to embark on a fitness regime, health kick, weight loss programme or wanting to gain mass needs to follow the initial guidelines to get them there. Keep in mind that the motivation in embarking on this route is usually one of the above, but sustaining this lifestyle is what the aim must be!

I maintain that CONSISTENCY is the priority and then work on the intensity. Whatever your aim, you first need to achieve cardiovascular fitness and then introduce  resistance work to this. Keeping up fluidity, speed and weight training, you will poundage will increase accordingly. In this way, optimal weight loss is achieved as most ‘working out’ is done within the ‘fat burning range’. Even if weight loss is not the goal, working out this way will build an appetite for those needing to eat more to gain mass.
